Backpacks are loaded, first day jitters are beginning to rear their heads, and full time school routine is T-one week away for my boys! Last year was the first year all my boys were in school, so I gathered the notes I had taken over the years and began to write as I soaked in the soul feeding silence. I found the stories pouring through me. I uploaded all 38 devotionals just days before school let out and launched this blog at LifePoint's Girls Weekend Out.
Then came the loudness of 3 little boys, home all day, accompanied by a large assortment of friends. Writing had to cease. Each time I sat down to try and write I was met with interuption after interuption. My frustration mounted as my patience wore thin. The message could not have been more clear, 'to everything there is a season and this is not the season to write!' So, for all who've asked, my blog will become active again very shortly. Summer is winding down and devotions are waiting to be written. I pray these simple expressions of finding and following Jesus in our every day messes encourages you to seek Him in your daily messes!
